Football Expert Chris Sutton Takes On Artist Olly Murs in Premier League Forecasts
Arsenal's 10-game victorious streak came to an end by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, but will the English top division leaders bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still manage to win."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this term, against AI, fans and a variety of special visitors.
For week 12, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
The singer's new record, Knees Up, is out on the weekend.
Football and Family Life
Murs is a talented soccer player as well as a successful artist and has been a star of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "The side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my daughter or son decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.
"I will not push football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be managing their weekend soccer team," he said.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He coached our side for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Predictions

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their attack is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be fairly close, though. Burnley are disciplined and their only home losses so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
It smells of a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they appear strong again.
West Ham's sole on the road win this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their manager Nuno was still Forest manager.
So, what exactly do I predict here - will it be the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Villa was a blip.
Sutton's prediction: 2-0
The guest's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have picked up under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign started, but they have impressed a several people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four games.
My son told me to get Bees striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
The forward will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to pick him or back Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this season, and Brighton are always decent at home. The visitors will try to attack on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it in reality turns out to be rather close. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.
Fulham have have lots of quality in their team but it still feels like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.
Their display in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We've not witnessed any other team rough up the Gunners like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of October.
However I am not do that. Rather, I really need to carry on going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Looking at the home side's home form, the only team they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a bad run... but they have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

This is a hard one to predict. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but might they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
