Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
